Oriel Place opens to the public
We are delighted to see one of our local projects, Oriel Place officially opened to the public recently, with the local community making the most of this outdoor hub in the past few weeks.
Located in Hampstead Village, Oriel Place sees the transformation of a previously disused and gated garden area, into a new piazza-style, community space.
Led by our Masterplanning and Urban Design team, this inclusive new public realm project has been co-designed in close collaboration with local residents, creatives and businesses, with continued support from Camden Council and other local stakeholders, including the Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum and The Heath & Hampstead Society.
Offering a new focal point for the area, the CIL funded project has opened up this space for everyone to access and enjoy, with a design that celebrates the sculptural form of the the much-loved London plane tree at its heart.
